Still Time to Win a Holiday Gift Basket at Gems Along the Mohawk and Help United Way

(Utica, NY – Dec. 22, 2009) Gems Along the Mohawk, the sponsor of the annual “Twelve Days of Christmas” holiday basket drawing announces there are two “days of Christmas” left to be a holiday gift basket winner.

“Each year 12 gift baskets are assembled with a value from $25 to $500. The baskets include an assortment of items from Gems Along the Mohawk storefronts. No purchase is necessary to be eligible to win a basket. Each day of the twelve days leading to Christmas a gift basket winner is announced.

“Although we ask for a contribution for United Way, it is not a requirement to enter the drawing,” said Dr. Renee Scialdo Shevat, drawing sponsor and owner of Herkimer Diamond Mines. “This our way to of giving back to the United Way who does so much for so many. We also enjoy spreading holiday cheer in the process.”

Drawing entries as well as donations for United Way will be accepted until Dec. 24, when the final gift basket will be given away. Winners will be notified, and do not need to be present.
