State Police Identify Driver involved in Fatal Accident

(Herkimer, NY - February 26, 2010) On February 20, 2010, the New York State Police in Herkimer investigated a fatal car pedestrian motor vehicle accident which occurred on the New York State Thruway in the Town of German Flatts.

Investigation into the accident revealed that the vehicle involved was a silver 2009 Toyota Camry operated by 48 year old Edward G. MacKenzie II, of Ilion, NY. Investigation into the accident is continuing and criminal charges are pending.
