Second Annual President’s Gala to be held April 10

Herkimer, NY—The Herkimer County College Foundation is planning a second annual President’s Gala to be held Saturday, April 10 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Herkimer County Community College’s Robert McLaughlin College Center.

The event will include hors d’oeuvres, dinner & dessert stations and an open bar, as well as a silent auction and entertainment by Frankie Michaels. Tickets are $100 per person and may be reserved by calling 315-866-0300, ext. 8653.

Proceeds from the gala will benefit the Herkimer County College Foundation. The Foundation awards more than $150,000 in scholarships annually to HCCC students and invests in other College programs, such as instructional technology, graduation activities and awards events. The work of the Foundation plays a vital role in the enhancement of campus life, as well as assuring that the College continues its demonstrated commitment to higher education.

HCCC Board of Trustees to Meet

Herkimer, NY— The Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees Finance, Facilities and Audit Committee will meet on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 5:00 pm in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, room 295. A special meeting of the Board of Trustees will follow beginning at 6:30 pm in room 295.
