NJCAA Soccer Nationals Results

(Herkimer, NY) Herkimer County Community College hosted the men’s and women’s National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III Soccer National Championships Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15 at Wehrum Stadium.

The Herkimer Generals took third place after a 2-1 loss in the semi-finals to Richland College and a 4-1 win against Nassau Community College in the consolation game. Union Community College won the championship after a win over Union College in the semi-finals and a 1-0 win against Richland College in the finals. Herkimer finished the season with an overall record of 19-2-2 and a Region 3 championship.

Herkimer’s Cristian Parra, a freshman from Greenwich, CT, and Kariym Balthazar, a senior from Trinidad and Tobago, were named to the All-Tournament team.
