Herkimer, NY—Herkimer County Community College’s women’s softball head coach PJ Anadio recently announced the signing of Academy of the Holy Names (Albany) senior C/3B Kolbi Smith, Valatie, NY to a Letter of Intent to play for the Generals next year.
Smith is expected to battle for a starting spot right away while primarily playing 3rd base. When asked what kind of contribution he is expecting from Smith, Anadio said “We are very thrilled and proud to have added Kolbi to the Generals family for next year. She is one of the strongest and most athletic young ladies I have ever come across. Kolbi is a true competitor as she is also a member of her high school volleyball and track teams. Bottom line is that Kolbi is a program changer. We are expecting two very big years out of her.”
