Herkimer College to host Region III Baseball Tournament

(Herkimer, NY – May 4, 2010) Herkimer County Community College will host the NJCAA Region III Baseball Championship Tournament this weekend at Veterans Memorial Park in Little Falls, NY.

The tournament schedule is as follows:

Friday:

Game 1: #1 Herkimer CCC vs. #4 Mohawk Valley CC at 12:00 p.m.

Game 2: #2 Niagara CCC vs. #3 Hudson Valley CC at 3:30 p.m.

Game 3: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2 at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday:

Game 4: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 at 12:00 p.m.

Game 5: Winner Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4 at 3:30 p.m.

Game 6: Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5 at 7:00 p.m.

Sunday (if necessary):

Game 7: Winner Game 6 vs. Loser Game 6 at 12:00 p.m.

An award presentation will immediately follow the championship game (Game 6 or Game 7). Admission is $5 per day. Children under 12 are free. For tournament updates, visit www.herkimergenerals.com.
