Area Business Catering to the Rich & Famous Set To Open To The Public
(Herkimer – Nov. 24, 2009) Sik Threads – Vintage Clothing & Rock Apparel, a division of Weiderman Antiquities in historic downtown Herkimer, is preparing to open its doors to the public for the first time. This division, which started about a year ago to handle the companies growing vintage clothing sales, has been open by appointment only to select clientele for about a year now.
At their 111 Park Avenue gallery, they’ve hosted major Rock Bands, such as Tantric, Since October & Soil, major vintage clothing buyers from New York City, and as far away as Japan, and prop departments from major TV & Movie productions, including NBC. They also currently have appointments on the books for bands like Saving Abel & Black Water Rising, and actor/comedian Jim Breuer, of Saturday Night Live fame.
They carry a full line of trendy men’s, women’s & children’s clothing & accessories, at a fraction of the NYC & Asian market prices, specializing in the Retro 1940’s to 1980’s era, and have 1000’s of pieces in stock.
The grand opening is scheduled for Friday & Saturday, December 11 & 12, 2009, from 9am to 4:30pm, and they will be open after that with limited hours or by appointment. See their website, www.SikThreads.com, for further details.
At Sik Threads, you can “Shop Where The Rock Stars Shop!”
