Anniejr. Opens at Poland Central School Nov. 13

Poland Central School Drama Club will be presenting the production of Anniejr. on Friday, November 13th and Saturday, November 14th at 7 p.m., Poland School Classic Gym.

Anniejr. tells of a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Roosevelt and finds a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Its upbeat plot and flamboyant characters have made Annie one of the most beloved musicals in history.

Between the cast and crew over 70 kids are participating in the production.

Admission prices are $5.00 per person and advance tickets may be purchased by calling 826-7900 ext. 392 or they may be purchased at the door each night.
